Editing at Eternal Fotography
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! It is a sunny and very HOT day in Texas and hopefully you are getting relief from the heat if you are in the DFW Metroplex.
I wanted to give you all an update and a little behind the scenes of EF editing. It has taken me awhile to decide on my editing style. There are so many options these days and I've been on this journey of discovering who I am as a photographer and making my own stamp in this world of artistic expression.
In the process of discovery, I remembered back to when I first started photography as a teenager. Digital cameras were not an option for me as they were too expensive for me to afford. To get myself started I had a few lower end film cameras. They definitely were not fancy but they got me started on my love for capturing moments of every day life. That gave way to a dream to have my own dark room. (That's a goal and a dream that I still have to remedy).
I realized that that dream (among many) have been dormant but are still in my heart today. The excitement I had when I dropped off my film and then the anticipation I had when I picked them up from the developer are feelings that I remember vividly 15 years later. Film is what I started out on and so I am going back to my first love (in photography).
Film is classic, elegant and never goes out of style. Take a look at some examples below.
